Andrew, Ibiza - I have lived in the U.K., South Africa and now here in Ibiza and I must say that in my travels I've never come across anything quite like Oxalis Corniculata. I have tried several different herbicides from garden centres here in Ibiza but with little success. I then decided to investigate on the internet and came across your website - what a find!

Chris, Murcia - We have lived here for almost 5 years and every year I go through the same problems with my lawn. In winter its basically alright but covered with Oxalis, and in the summer I get areas going brown, I contacted Greengrass at Lawns in Spain and he recommended two types of grass, one for the winter and one for the summer. I followed his step by step advice and we now have a beautiful green lawn summer and winter. As for the Oxalis - one treatment last Autumn and its almost completely gone.

Vic, Tosalet, Javea - For the last two years my lawn had been looking dry and brown.
In early 2012 my gardener increased the irrigation but by then about 25 % of the lawn was nearly dead.
A further month of daily deep watering made no difference.

At this stage I called Greengrass at Lawns in Spain for a consultation.
His soil analysis revealed a higher than normal soil pH level in the areas where the grass was dying.
These areas had been used some years earlier by my builders to transport cement.
The cement powder had obviously spilt and gradually changed the soil pH level.

Lawns in Spain recommended a course of chemicals to lower the pH level coupled with the planting of 100 Benissa Lush plugs to repopulate the worst areas.
After a month, some fertilizer was applied and the new growth could clearly be seen.
Four months later the lawn is now back to it’s former glory.
