Alicante Grass	Fine bladed creeping grass. Similar to Fine Dwarf, but much greener. Slow growing, draught tolerant and slightly shade tolerant. The slow growth rate means less mowing and is quite appealing to some people. Forms dense carpet. Tends to turn yellow in alkaline soils, so a soil test is highly recommended. Prefers sandy acidic soil, but tolerates poor soil and low fertilisation, so is ideal if you have an existing lawn and are changing your type of grass. For best results, we have a special fertiliser for this grass. ALL YEAR ROUND GREEN (i.e Does NOT turn brown in winter although prolonged cold periods of "soil temperatures" less than 2 degrees centigrade will kill this grass) Overseed with: No need
Med Green Grass	Medium leaved green grass. Water: Drought tolerant Wear: Hard wearing and wear tolerant Mowing: mow at 2.0" or less. General: Nice visual lawn for large areas and fairways. Reasonably Low maintenance, Grows as fast as English grass in the Spring, so needs regular mowing to keep it compact Soil: Prefers well drained reasonably rich loamy soil. Overseed with: Winter Green (Type L)
Med Green Compact Grass	Description: A quite remarkable grass. Tighter, darker, smaller, thicker, softer, low growing version of Med Green (similar to Village Green®.) Mowing: A thick green carpet can be achieved if mowed frequently at 1.0" or below Watering: Drought tolerant. Feeding: Less than normal Wear: Very Wear tolerant. Colour: Nice dark green lawn. Maintenance: Reasonably low maintenance but needs regular mowing. General: Frost tolerant and stays green all year. Overseed with: Not necessary
